ISEE, SSAT and HSPT Preparation

Private schools utilize many tools in their selection process but the entrance exam is often the first "hurdle" for most applicant families.

 

The ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam) is perhaps the most used entrance examination, and we've helped many students successfully prepare for it. We also offer preparation tutoring for the SSAT and the HSPT.

 

Tutoring packages and customized courses are available for all four levels of the ISEE:

• Primary Level (entering Grades 2-4)

• Lower Level (entering Grades 5 and 6)

• Middle Level (entering Grades 7 and 8)

• Upper Level (entering Grades 9-12)

 

Your child’s first tutoring session includes an evaluation of their learning style and a comprehensive diagnostic test, which will identify areas where they can improve the most. We then develop a customized ISSE plan tailored to their specific needs and learning style.

Rates:

 

• All-inclusive*: A set of 10 online test prep tutoring sessions. Each session is one hour in duration. This option includes coaching for your child to prepare for their school interview and visit day, as well as a full practice test, administered under real-world exam conditions. Price: $150/hour

 

• Single sessions: One hour, online test prep tutoring session. You choose how many sessions you would like prior to your test date. Price: $200/hour

*Includes a comprehensive review of all test sections: Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, Mathematics Achievement, and Essay Writing. Also included are strategies to maximize available study time and position your student to perform their best on test day.
